ATTRIBUTED TO YE BENQI, 1920-1940
The bottle is painted with a continuous scene of eight brightly colored birds squabbling amidst branches and on a rocky precipice. One side has an inscription with the cyclical date Renzi (1912) and signature of Ye Zhongsan, followed by a red seal below the neck.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, glass stopper

This bottle is part of a small group of inside-painted bottles likely painted by Ye Benqi, to which he signed his father's name.
