AN ENAMELED AND MOLDED PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1820-1880
The bottle is molded in high relief with a sinuous iron-red dragon on one side and a phoenix on the reverse, both on a ground of polychrome scrolling clouds and flames while pursuing a gilt flaming pearl. The base has an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
