A VERY UNUSUAL GREEN-OVERLAY PINK GLASS POMEGRANATE-FORM SNUFF BOTTLE
1820-1900
The translucent green-overlay is carved through to the pink ground with flowering branches of ripe pomegranates and two bats, the branches wrapping beneath to form the base. The transparent, pink outer layer is set over a translucent white inner layer.
1 ¾ in. (4.4 cm.) high, pearl stopper
