A DENDRITIC BANDED AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE
1770-1880
One side has a flat face that displays the two fern-like markings of pale russet color in the translucent, icy-grey stone. The slightly rounded reverse has some milky white areas, and the narrow sides have opaque-white bands.
2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.) high, quartz stopper
