A TURQUOISE-BLUE OVERLAY MILKY GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE

The bottle is carved through the transparent turquoise-blue overlay to the 'snowflake' ground with a continuous scene on one side of a scholar and attendant in a bamboo grove, the reverse is carved with a crane flying over a waterfall towards a pine tree.
2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high, glass stopper
