MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY
Moulded in the form of six petals covered in a purplish-blue glaze and applied with turquoise-glazed beaded garlands suspended from monster masks on the shoulder below a lobed collar with inner bead border encircling the mouth, the similarly glazed cover surmounted by a seated figure of Buddha
