With hinged lid and fall front, the interior with large upper compartment above a pair of drawers, the drawers grained to the interior, fitted with numerous hidden drawers and compartments throughout; the ebonised stand probably 18th century and later
The coffre 15 ¼ in. (39 cm.) high; 27 in. (69 cm.) wide; 15 ½ in. (39.5 cm.) deep
The stand: 19 ¼ in. (49 cm.) high; 28 in. (71 cm.) wide; 17 in. (43 cm.) deep
