The broad pear-shaped body is decorated around the neck with a narrow band of two taotie motifs centered by small flanges, and the pedestal foot is encircled by a narrow band of four 'eyes' centering diagonally-arranged scrolls. The bottom of the interior is cast with a two-character inscription, Fu Xin (Father Xin). The surface has a mottled pale-green patina with areas of cuprite encrustation.
