A CARVED CELADON-GLAZED 'DRAGON' VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is of ovoid shape, and is molded with three bow-strings on the base of the flared neck. The lower body is carved in shallow relief with two sinuous dragons ascending from breaking waves. It is covered with a fine and even pale celadon glaze thinning over the extremities.
