A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE CENSER
18TH CENTURY
The jade censer is carved on the exterior in low relief with archaistic mythical beasts against an incised key-fret ground, and raised on a spreading ring foot carved with archaistic lappets. The body is flanked by a pair of upright S-curved handles, and the stone is of even white tone with slight green tinge.
