A WHITE JADE MUGHAL-STYLE SNUFF BOTTLE
PROBABLY IMPERIAL, ATTRIBUTED TO THE TIBETAN WORKSHOPS, BEIJING, 1760-1810
The rectangular body is raised on an oval foot, each main side is carved with a stylized lotus, each narrow side with a slender flower head, all separated by pendent, narrow leaves undercut at the corners, and all below a band of pendent petals on the neck. The stone is highly polished.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, carnelian stopper
