A PAIR OF SMALL AMBER CARVINGS OF THE HEHE ERXIAN
18TH CENTURY
Each seated immortal has a jovial expression and wears long, flowing robes. One holds a flywhisk in his left hand and the other has an oval-shaped box resting on his lap. The semi-translucent amber has some opaque inclusions.
2 ¾ and 2 5/8 in. (6.9 and 6.8 cm.) high
