SONG-MING DYNASTY (AD 960-1644)
The pear-shaped body is inlaid in silver with bands of pairs of confronted dragons within rectangular borders, interrupted by a pair of gold-inlaid taotie masks suspending rings on the shoulder and another pair on the lower body. The foot is inlaid in silver with a rope-twist band.
