AN UNUSUAL FAMILLE ROSE CELADON-GROUND SHALLOW FOOTED DISH
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The shallow dish is raised on four low feet and covered overall with a pale celadon glaze. The fluted sides are decorated on the exterior with eight lotus blossoms on leafy scrolls, and the gilt-edged flat rim of conforming shape is decorated with floral scroll. The base has four sets of pink-enameled petals encircling a small central floret, and four further florets spaced around the edges.
