PU RU (1896-1963)
PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE NORTHWESTERN COLLECTORDr. Paul Fisher Jr., was a longtime professor of journalism at the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri, as well as director of the Freedom of Information Center. As a prestigious, as well as one of the oldest journalism schools worldwide, Dr. Fisher taught many international students in his graduate classes. He taught many graduate students from Taiwan, and in the 1960s, one of those students gifted this painting by Pu Ru to Dr. Fisher as a token of respect and gratitude.
