the brick-red field with polychrome hooked palmettes, floral sprays and small hooked panels in green, blue, yellow, brick-red, ivory and indigo around three large hooked and indented blue panels, each containing hooked palmettes encircling stylised floral octagon centrepiece, similar smaller panels at each side, in light blue border of hooked palmettes and floral sprays between ivory running-dog wide stripe, inscription and date cartouche at one side, kelim at each end, slight overall wear --246cm. x 231cm.(8ft.1in. x 7ft.7in.)
