A PAIR OF CELADON JADE ‘CICADA’ PENDANTS
WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY (c. 1100-771 BC)
The two jade cicadas are relatively small in size, in which the head area is concave. Both undersides are incised with horizontal markings and the mouths perforated for suspension.
