each modelled atop a mound of seashells and standing before a dolphin, Neptune loosely draped in a cloak and wearing a crown, Venus also wearing a cloak and accompanied by Cupid, painted in colours, both on square section marbled table bases with applied pads to each impressed VENUS and NEPTUNE -- 25.5cm. high (Neptune), circa 1830 (restorations) See illustration (2)
