A HUANGHUALI AND TWO ZITAN BRUSH POTS, BITONG
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The huanghuali brush pot is of cylindrical form. It has a fine grain and a deep caramel tone. The carved zitan brush pot is shaped as a gnarled tree trunk. It is of a rich chocolate tone. The second zitan brush pot is of cylindrical form and stands on three shallow feet, the wood is of a rich chocolate tone.
