A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE AND IRON-RED DECORATED 'DRAGON' DISHES
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
Each dish is decorated to the centre with a five-clawed dragon amongst cresting waves. The exterior is similarly decorated with nine dragons evenly separated by cresting waves.
7 in. ( 17.8 cm.) diam.
