AN IRON-RED-DECORATED 'BATS' DISH
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The dish is decorated to the interior with five bats with their wings outstretched and arranged in a circle, encircled by twelve bats on the cavetto between borders in underglaze blue. The exterior is similarly decorated with eight bats.
