A WHITE JADE CARVING OF THE 'HEHE ERXIAN'
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The piece is carved in the round as the Laughing Twins, each smiling with their arms linked over their shoulders. One holds a lotus spray and the other holds a slightly open box in one hand and a toad in the other. The stone is of an even white tone.
