DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The vase is decorated to the slender neck with two pink-enamelled angular scroll handles. The body and neck are decorated with two registers of flower sprays interspersed amongst archaistic angular scrolls bearing the heads of confronting kui dragons flanking a gilt chain band. The rim and shoulder are decorated with a peach and ruyi-head band. The interior of the rim and the base are glazed turquoise.
