CASE: the inverted bell top with loop handle, rectangular glazed sides and rear door, raised on pad feet DIAL: the silvered square dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, pierced blued steel hands, signed to the lower edge 'Ellicott / London', with 'Strike/Silent' lever to upper left MOVEMENT: the two train gut fusee movement with verge escapement, rack striking to bell, strike/silent and formerly with trip repeat, the engraved back plate conformingly signed
