The hinged lid decorated in première partie with a French Ducal double armorial in the central oval panel and four further panels decorated with scrolling foliage, above a waisted body on a brass-mounted base; hinges and lock replaced, interior relined
4 in. (10 cm.) high; 12 in. (30.5 cm.) wide; 9 ½ in. (24 cm.) deep
