BY JEAN-BAPTISTE III LELARGE, CIRCA 1775-1785
Each with a rectangular padded back with anse de panier cresting, arms and bowed seat-rail covered in silk with tied flowers flanked with parrots under canopies on a pale blue ground, the back and seat-rail carved with beaded frieze and with leaf tip, the part-filled fluted arms terminating in scrolls decorated with flowerheads, trailing husks and acanthus, on acanthus-wrapped turned tapering fluted legs headed by blocks and decorated with rosaces and terminating in toupie feet, each stamped 'I.B.LELARGE'
