Other examples of octagonal tables of similar form to the present lot and inset with Spanish brocatelle tops are known. For example one sold Anonymous sale; Sotheby’s London, 9 December 1994, lot 327 and another offered Anonymous sale; Sotheby’s New York, 9 June 2014, lot 201.
