Each fluted circular and with waved gadrooned border, engraved with the Royal arms within the Garter motto and below the Royal crown, marked underneath, each further engraved underneath with a scratch weight '93=19'
10 in. (25.5 cm.) diameter
93 oz. 6 dwt. (2,913 gr.)
The Royal arms are those of King George III (r.1760-1820).

Almost certainly a perquisite of office given to William, 4th Duke of Devonshire K.G. (1720-1764) as Lord Chancellor and then by descent to
Andrew, 11th Duke of Devonshire K.G., M.C. (1920-2004).
