Inspired by an early watch made for Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister, Caroline (the Queen of Naples), the Reine de Naples is an exemplary symbol of feminine elegance, well representing Breguet’s expertise in both watchmaking and jewellery. The present example is made of 18 carat white gold, and has a bezel and caseband set with 76 baguette-cut diamonds, of approximately 6.06 carats. The chapter ring of the watch is also paved with 42 baguette-cut diamonds, of approximately 2.77 carats. Other notable features of the watch, such as the mother-of-pearl markers, pearl cut diamond at 6 o’clock (approximately 0.09 carats) and famed blued Breguet hands truly make this watch a stunning and unique addition to any collection.
