both of circular form, the earlier example with a moulded rim, waisted socket with detachable nozzle and rising curved handle with shaped thumb piece, marks indistinct, London, the second example with a beaded rim, vase-shaped socket with detachable nozzle, rising curved handle with foliate-decorated shaped thumb piece and detachable conical snuffer with scroll handle, London 1779 - 6½in.
