A George III teapot with stand,
each of oval form and with beaded borders, the teapot engraved with an initial within a shield-shaped cartouche with a bow above and foliage beneath, with a tapering angular spout, wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, the teapot stand with an erased cartouche, Matthew Boulton, Birmingham 1787 - height of teapot 5¾in. (14.50cm.), 19.25oz. gross.
