An Edwardian composite four-piece tea and coffee service
in the 18th Century taste, each piece of tapering shaped oblong form, applied with laurel leaf and berry friezes and engraved with narrower wrigglework friezes, the teapot and the pedestal coffee pot with rising curved spouts, ivory bracket handles and rising hinged covers with shaped oblong ivory finials, the pedestal cream jug and sugar basin with scroll handles, the coffee pot Messrs. Barnard, London 1906, the remaining pieces Elkington & Co., London 1906 and 1907 - height of coffee pot 10¼in. (26cm.), 76oz. gross.
