PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF ALBERTO GIUGANINO (1887-1979)Professore Alberto Giuganino (1887-1979), was an Italian scholar and curator of the Museo Nazionale d’Arte orientale Giuseppe Tucci in Roma. Amongst all his important publications, he wrote the catalogue of one of the first major exhibitions of Chinese art in Europe, the famous Mostra d’Arte Cinese at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice in 1954. He went to China for the first time in 1957 with Giuseppe Tucci at the invitation of the Chinese government and then dedicated his life to research on Chinese Art and collected Asian works of Art from which the majority has been given to the Museum that he was the curator.

Le vase est de forme cornet au col et au pied évasés, le col quadrilobé, la partie centrale légèrement renflée à décor de deux dragons chilong en relief dont l'un tient un ruyi dans la gueule. Le col escaladé d'un troisième sculpté en relief.
