etching, 1636, on laid paper, without watermark, a good impression of the first state (of two), just beginning to show some wear in the hair and shadow to the left of Saskia's face at centre, trimmed on or just inside the platemark, two tiny foxmarks in the lower left corner, pale adhesive stains in the corners showing though recto, otherwise in good condition
