The Chopard tourbillon movements bearing the Chopard insignia began in 2003. After several years of developmental work came the L.U.C. Caliber 1.02 which was the world's first wristwatch tourbillon with manual winding and four barrels, each of which contains a 47-cm-long mainspring. The additional two days of unused power reserve provide a comfortable margin and enhance the stability of the complex mechanism's rate.
