Chamber Candlestick 4142 was completed on 8 May 1900 with a price of $80. Gorham's Martele archives indicate that Chamber Candlestick 4142 was raised in 31 hours and chased for 50 hours by Duncan Bernard McKenzie (see Larry Pristo, Martele 950-1000 Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, 2002, p. 219).
