Of oval boat form with lobed sides, raised on four paw feet headed by furled acanthus, handles with conforming terminals, domed cover with finial rising from radiating leaves, one side engraved with foliate script monogram JMW, underside engraved FROM Mr. & Mrs. Hiram Sibley June 23rd 1886, marked on underside
