Peng Chunshi (1896-1976) was a Chinese calligrapher, poet and political figure in the 20th Century. He was praised by his contemporaries as “the best bel esprit of Jiang Xi Province”. Peng’s works exhibited a high level of literary accomplishment, in light of his rich erudition.

Jia Jingde, sobriquet Yujia, was a politician in Republic of China and appointed as Vice Premier in 1949. He is skillful at elegant calligraphy with clearly articulating each brushstroke.
