manuscript on paper, 12ll. of elegant black naskh, interlinear Persian translation in red and gold nasta'liq, punctuation in red, gold roundels between verses, gold margins between black rules, red and blue outer rules, later margined on cream paper with the divisions of text marked in red and with gold and blue marginal roundels, outer blue ruled margin, sura headings in gold in blue-ruled panels, illuminated opening bifolio, later black morocco binding, (trimmed, some folios loose, some water-staining and small repairs, wear to opening folios, spine of binding repaired), in cloth envelope, probably India, 17th century - 13¾ x 9in.
