MAYAN JADE PENDANT

Carved from a slightly undulating cobble of thick section with a stylized standing dignitary with hands clasped and cupped in a classic ‘summoning’ gesture, adorned with earspools and a sweeping feather headdress with a bone flare as knot; pierced laterally, in variegated apple green jade.

Pendentif en jade vert pomme intense et gris vert sculpté avec un percement latéral dans un galet de fine section et de forme légèrement ondulée, représentant un dignitaire debout aux mains croisées en coupe dans une posture habituelle d’injonction, paré de boucles d’oreilles et d’une coiffe de plumes en brosse.
