GENOA, CIRCA 1750

This charming commode with its delicately painted Chinoiserie landscapes is a rarity amongst Genoese painted furniture of the era, as the vast majority of known examples feature delicate trailing floral vinery or floral bouquets with only a scant few decorated with landscapes.
