Au Petit Dunkerque was one of the most fashionable retailers of 'curiositiés' in Paris. Owned by Charles-Reymond Granchez, originally from the city of Dunkerque and jeweler to Marie-Antoinette, the shop sold works of arts from all around the world and commissioned fashionable and renowned artisans such as the leading gold box maker Charles Le Bastier.
