The present timepiece is a very well-preserved example of the highly attractive Glashütte Original SummerSun model.
It is from the firm’s Star Collection launched in 2008, a luxurious series of four exquisite models representing the four seasons.
The dial of the yellow gold SummerSun is set with 70 white and 74 gold-treated diamonds, and a shining sun with long sunrays is the motif of the time display on this exquisite timekeeper. The sunrays continue on the case sides, lit up by nine white diamonds. As on all masterpieces of the Four Seasons Star Collection, the dial is framed by a bezel set with 64 clear white brilliant-cut diamonds. Together with the diamonds in the crown and the 22 diamonds on the buckle, a total of 2.581 ct shines on SummerSun.
