A leaf from Shakespeare’s First Folio, “incomparably the most important work in the English language” (Pforzheimer). This leaf contains the end of Act 3 and beginning of Act 4 of The Taming of the Shrew, a beloved comedy which has inspired many imitations and updates—from musicals to modern films.
