A Berlin 'Empire' cup and saucer
painted with a frieze of a school building within a gilt rectangular panel between broad gilt lines, the white and gilt handle moulded with anthemions, inscribed Fanny to the interior and Robert to the base, the saucer inscribed Zum 18.June/1831 within a band of flowers, blue sceptre and impressed numerals -- 15.5cm. high max., 19th century (very slight wear)
