BR Class 7P locomotive and tender No. 70021 'Morning Star'
7¼in. gauge, built to exhibition standard by W. Rodie with silver soldered superheated copper boiler built by Swindon Boilers Serial No. 91737 with fittings including twin water gauges with shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, valve chest pressure gauge, brake vacuum gauge, blower, twin injector, whistle clack and other valves and washout plugs. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear and fluted motion, cylinder head pressure relief valves, timing plugs, steam operated drain cocks, twin mechanical lubricators each with twin pumps, two injectors, vacuum operated brake gear, sanding gear, correct wheel profiles, dampers and working leaf springs to pony truck. Other details include washout-plugs, fine pipework, reversing mechanism with locking wheel and drum with cut-off graduations, glazed cab windows, steps, hand and lamp irons. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, tool box, firing iron rack, draw bar buffers, filter, riveting, ladder, steps, hand and lamp irons.
