with brass plate engraved 'E Gaussinet a Paris 1868' with centre flue boiler with round firebox and fittings including water gauge with shut-off cocks, Bourdon pressure gauge, weight and lever safety valve, the weight stamped '5A', whistle, regulator valves and blowdown cock and mud door in the crown, with bridge. Engine details include mahogany lagged brass cylinder 5/8th in. bore x 1in. stroke, drain cocks and pipework, decorative bar type crosshead guides, barrelled connecting rod with jibbed and cottered big and little end bearings with split brasses, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, spoked flywheel and curved spoked belt pulley. Other details include ivorine handles to all hot valves, lubricators and oil pots to all bearings, belt driven Watt type governor, round spoked metal wheels with turned rims, turning lock and single pole with chains for two horses, finished in black and polished brightwork -- 16 x 12in. (41.7 x 30.5cm.). Fitted mahogany carrying box with tools, firing irons, spare gauge glasses and pressure gauge, funnel and oil can
