Château Marojallia 2001
Margaux
In original wooden case
Tasting note: This small garage operation is run by Jean-Luc Thunevin and his partner, Murielle Andraud. The deep purple-colored 2001 reveals a lovely perfume of acacia flowers, melted licorice, graphite, creme de cassis, and blueberries. Medium-bodied with tremendous purity, a layered texture, it is surprisingly light on its feet. This brilliant example of terrific winemaking is one of the stars of the appellation in 2001.
