Apollo 14 charts, all SIGNED by Edgar MITCHELL.
1. Fra Mauro. U.S. Army Topographic Command for NASA/MSC. Landing site chart base on high resolution Lunar Orbiter photography, 17 by 22 inches. Scale of 1:10,000.
INSCRIBED and SIGNED: "Fra Mauro Base, Apollo 14. EDGAR MITCHELL, Feb 1971." Mitchell has indicated the exact landing point with an "X." Additionally he has drawn both paths of the EVA traverses. Small dotted lines west of the landing point indicated the path of first EVA. The much longer solid line represents the path taken on the second EVA to Cone Crater. Mitchell has inscribed this path with: "EVA-2."
2. Apollo Translunar / Transearth Trajectory Plotting Chart (ATT), Apollo Mission 14. Aeronautical Chart and Information Center, USAF for NASA. First Edition, December 16, 1970, 24 by 20 inches. Two notes sections at the left and right lower corners have a flight time summary based on the January 31, 1971 launch date. The entire flight path from the Earth to the Moon and back is illustrated from a view centered above the Earth’s North Pole. All major flight events are labeled including launch, lunar and earth coast phases, lunar orbit insertion, and earth landing.
