A CARVED RED-OVERLAY GLASS BALUSTER VASE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The vase is carved through the ruby-red overlay to the bubble-suffused ground with a continuous scene of scholars and attendants in two pavilions amidst lotus pond, all below the sun and swirling clouds on the shoulder which is flanked by a pair of lingzhi-form handles.
